Sally Mae's Story...
BEAUTIFUL GRAY PERSIAN

I am a petite and very sweet 10 year old girl.  When my person moved to nursing care, I couldn’t go along so I moved to Almost Home.  I would really like to have my very own person again – that’s my cup of tea.  I love head scratches and I’m used to being brushed to keep my pretty fur looking fine (I’m half Persian you know).  Being a bit older is a good thing as I’m a settled kitty and don’t do that foolish kitten stuff.  Please come see me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally Mae, a Lovingston Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Lovingston, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Lovingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lovingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lovingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lovingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
