Dundee's Story...
REAL HEAD TURNER...SO ADORABLE!

Dundee is a Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. He is approximately 2 years old.  He was rescued from animal control.  He was picked up as a stray but no one claimed him.

He is a head turner with his unusual coat.  His head, legs and bushy tail are a handsome tone of brown, but his body is a striking blue and grey merle.

He walks very well on a leash.  Someone has taught him to 'sit up and beg', and he is SO ADORABLE when he does this!!

He is very friendly and LOVES affection.  He seems to get along well with other dogs.  He is a great med/large size - approx 45-50 pounds.

If you are looking for a great friend that will really appreciate a 'forever home', please come and spend some time with Dundee - You won't be able to leave without him !!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dundee, a Lovingston Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Lovingston, or seeking a Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Lovingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lovingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lovingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lovingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
