Moxie (PSP)'s Story...
REAL WATER BUG!

AUG 30, 2012:

I am currently at Pets Supplies Plus in Charlottesville, VA.  Moxie and Char’s foster mom says:Moxie is a water bug. Any sound of water has her flying over to play and drink, mostly play. Both of them love lounging on the computer desk while I am working. And both really want to be where you are. That is why they learned how to work the barricade when I'd leave the upstairs. In no time at all they'd be in the kitchen. Char is very much a love bug. He purrs at the slightest touch. He liked sleeping in my lap while I worked. Both get along fine with other cats after some adjustment time, and both were okay with my 'cat friendly' dogs. Toys on a string and the chase around circle with the light-up balls are their very favorite toys.”

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moxie (PSP), a Lovingston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lovingston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lovingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lovingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lovingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lovingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
