Jack (FC=mo)'s Story...
SUCH A LITTLE TALKER!

JUNE 14, 2012:

What is a four letter word for a dog that is shaped like a football, snores after a good meal, barks like a duck, short legged, and very cute??? J A C K !!!

I am Jack's foster care provider and he is easy to have around the house. Jack's owner had to surrender him and his kitty pal because she was very ill and she could no longer care for her pets. He gets along well with the other dogs and the kids. He is quite the talker as he will come right up to me and paw me to get my attention and then starts to make some of the funniest noises I've ever heard and once he gets me on my feet he runs over to the door. He definitely gets his point across! We put him in a crate at night and he is okay with that, but I suspect he would not mind curling up with a warm body. He loves to go for rides and walks. Even though I know Jack would be fine left home alone during the normal work day hours, I'd love for Jack to be in a home around humans for the majority of the time. He is affectionate and such a little 'talker' and enjoys being around other living creatures and humans! He would be a GREAT addition to any home!

Jack is 5 years old and weighs in at 15.6 pounds.  He's up-to-date with his shots, is neutered and housebroken.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack (FC=mo), a Lovingston Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Lovingston, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Lovingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lovingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lovingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lovingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
