Hayden's Story...
Hayden is a real social butterfly and quite a character. He is about a year old and is very worldly acting as a greeter at the vets office front desk post neuter where he was taken after we rescued him from a high kill shelter. He has kept his foster mom busy with a few of his antics. Hayden loves company and likes to talk. He makes sure when we arrive each day that we know he can't wait to come out, say hello, be petted and play. This week, he has become fast buddies with Clinton and the two have figured out how to slide open the door between their condos so they can hang out and play.
We think Hayden would do well in anywhere including a busy home with another friendly cat. We are sure he would love being adopted with Clinton his new partner in crime too. If you are interested in adopting this adorable guy, he is waiting for you at PetSmart Burlington on Brant.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hayden, a Oakville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oakville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oakville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakville paves the way for another one to be saved.
