Hi there! My name is Sicily. I am a beautiful, outgoing girl looking for a new home. I can be pretty energetic at 1st meetings, loving the opportunity to play in the yard or go for a walk with my friends and family. I enjoy being able to stretch my legs for a bit before going inside to relax on a blanket or next to a person that I love. I enjoy having more submissive male dog companions. I was previously in a home with 2 other male dogs and have had pleasant introductions with other males as well. I like being able to play with them wrestling around but will correct them if they do something I don't enjoy or that might scare me a bit. After they stop doing that I will quickly come back with a loose, wiggly body wanting to begin playing again. If you are interested in adding me to your family, please stop by and see me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sicily, a St. Louis American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
