Atlas is one our special needs cats. This boy spent several long weeks at Animal Control before being rescued by LCPR. Life was beginning to look brighter for this boy, with the future of a new life. At his medical exam he was found to be felv+. Being Felv+ does not mean an automatic death sentence.

On a good note Atlas appears to be a very healthy boy and at a good solid weight and shows no sign of illness. Since he was in such good condition he has been castrated and is up to date on vaccinations. Atlas could like a long and healthy life just as any other cat. What if he is simply a carrier? If truly infected or a carrier Atlas should be an inside kitty and the only kitty unless others in the household are positive.

Atlas is a large and lovable cat, approx. 5 years old and has plenty of love and purrs to give to the right person. We at LCPR know that there is the purrfect family out there in search of one cat that needs a wonderful and loving home. If you are that family please contact us at or 615-797-9716

About Last Chance Pet Rescue, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small rescue group formed to help the animals held by Animal Control facilities in Dickson County TN. The main facility in our county is not open to the public, does not have a formal adoption program and does not have access to internet. We not only rescue animals from them and take them into our foster homes, but also submit the animals to many other rescue groups in hopes of saving even more lives.
We are also dedicated to locating affordable spay/neuter options for individuals that lack the funds to have their companion animals spayed/neutered. This is the only way to stop the overwhelming number of unwanted animals entering into animal control facilities.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee pays for the spay/neuter, 1 annual vaccination, 1 rabies vaccination, deworming, heartworm check for dogs and fe/luk test for cats. Once you have met the animal you wish to adopt, you will complete an adoption application and adoption contract, fully acknowledging our contractual agreements, which includes a possible home check.
