Take a look at this handsome boy! Barney is approximately 3-4 years old and appears to be a Treeing Walker Coonhound. Barney gets along with dogs, cats, and kids. Since he is a hound, he can be a talker, especially when he wants to go outside. He would be a good indoor/outdoor dog to keep you company no matter where you are. If you’re interested in Barney, we ask that you bring your entire family, including dogs, to meet him to ensure he is a right fit for your family and your family is the right fit for him.
If you are interested in rescuing, fostering or adopting Barney, please contact David at firstname.lastname@example.org or (319) 480-7061. Please understand that we do not have a shelter and are 100% volunteer based with no paid staff. The majority of our volunteers all have daytime jobs, so it could be several days before someone is able to contact you.
This pet’s adoption fee is $175. The fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, treatment for a variety of intestinal parasites and vaccinations. We have an all-volunteer staff, which means your entire fee goes towards helping homeless animals. A home visit is part of our adoption process. Breed Disclosure: Due to the fact that most of our adoptable pets are strays, we cannot guarantee their breed. We list the pet’s breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, temperament, and personality of the animal. The pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s actually a purebred.
