My name is Zelda, but I go by Zee. I am a Harrier hound, almost 10 months old and I've got energy to burn! I have had all of my shots, been spayed and micro chipped. I will let you know when I need to go potty. I bark a little when I am over excited, or really need to go outside potty. Otherwise, I'm a fairly quiet gal at home. I am very pretty and my fur is really, really soft.
I love people, all sizes of people, so it wont take long for you to see that I am very sweet. Sometimes I'm so happy that I jump up, and I would never want to hurt anyone so, my new people should keep good control around wee ones who are unsteady on their feet. I have a very strong prey drive, and would not do well in a house with cats, birds or rodents.
Do you have any snacks in your pocket? I LOVE FOOD! I'll do anything you'd like me to do if you show me the treats! I've learned sit, down, stay, paw and sit pretty ... if you keep practicing with me, I will learn much much more! I do have some bad habits, not even I can be perfect. I've been told to keep away from the garbage, and I like to see what's happening on the counters but my foster Momma says no all the time. God has blessed me with wonderfully long pony legs, and I intend to use them. I like to wrap them around you when we sleep in bed and stretch them out when im in a good deep sleep :)
I would do best in a home with another medium to large size, playful dog. My foster brother and I LOVE to play together, but we pay pretty fast and rough. Tug is one of our favorite games. I like to win! I will need a very energetic family, I'm a very active girl. I like to keep busy with walks, play, and running around the yard to burn off energy. Don't get me wrong ... I'm a cuddle bug! I love to sit and cuddle, I adore car rides too but I need a family that will exercise me! I would do great as an agility dog. I'm a very fast learner, and agility would keep my mind and body active, and since I'm very social, everyone thinks that would be great for me. I love to be with my humans, and hang out with you wherever you are. I am crate trained, and I have no problems being in the crate when you need to go out without me. I'm just really ready to meet my FurEver Family. I hope you will find me soon!
