Doc's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Doc's Story...
Doc is a most handsome, 2.5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix. He is 77 solid pounds of pure love.

Doc is a big lap dog, loves going for car rides, gets along well with other dogs and has an awesome laid-back temperment. He would be good with children as long as they are not so little that he could knock them over accidentially because of his size. Doc is healthy, housebroken and just waiting to find a loving family of his own.

If you'd like to meet Doc, please email daldoglady@netzero.net or text 727-417-6017. We will need you to fill out an Adoption Application on our website at www.dalrescuetampabay.org before meeting him. His adoption fee is $150.00. Home and vet checks will be required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doc, a Tampa Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
