My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our shelter first met Jax when he came to us as a stray back in Oct 2013. He had actually came in with another shepherd (possibly his brother). Nobody claimed them so they got adopted separately. Earlier this week, Jax was picked up as a stray again. We called several times to reach his family, we sent email, and tagged their door, but they have not contacted us to claim
him.

When Jax was found earlier this week, he had a cut/bruise on his left eye. We’re not sure what happened to him, but by the next day it appeared more swollen and oozing with pus (yuk). We took him to the vet yesterday and they prescribed him some Neomycin.

Jax is approximately 9 years old and weighs approximately 98lbs. He seems non-reactive towards other dogs when he is walked passed their kennel. He did not react when I showed him our office cat. He just kept trying to drag me towards the door so he could exit the shelter…poor guy. He is very friendly and affectionate with people. He just wants a nice home where he enjoy his golden years.
