Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Annabelle just had her first birthday and she is in search of a new home due to illness in her family. She is a slender girl at 15 inches and 23 pounds and is 100% beagle puppy! Annabelle had been called Annie, but in typical beagle fashion, she answers when she does not have anything better to do!
This girl is housebroken without the use of a dog door. She is crate trained and you will never hear a peep out of her except a tail thumping as you walk up to the kennel. She is learning to sit and wait for treats. This is a smart girl who will do well with a set of classes to help her learn her commands and to improve her leash walking skills.
Annabelle has a love of play, but can get pretty rough. She loves to chase and then pin the family cats down at her foster homes. She then nibbles on them until someone makes her stop! She would do best in a home with no cats or small dogs that resemble prey!
Annabelle is great with kids and will do well with a canine buddy in the home. She is sweet and loving girl who needs a family experienced with scent hound behavior. An active family that can provide the attention and exercise that this young girl needs.
