Meet Missy, a 53 pound, 2 1/2 year old female hound/shepherd mix.
Missy came to Parker Paws when her family could no longer care for her. More information and photos will be posted soon.
Missy is a calm, lovable, very sweet, laid back and quiet girl who loves to be with people and children. She gets along well with other dogs, and will run and play until she tires out. She loves to play with her rope toy. She lived with cats in her previous home, so we don't believe she will have a problem with them in her new home. She is house trained and leash trained, sleeps all night on her dog bed, and loves to go on walks. She is currently working on her crate training and getting in cars; she does fine once she is inside the car. She is working on her basic commands; it's a work in progress.
Missy is looking for a home with a secure fenced yard with room to run and play when the mood strikes her. She would also enjoy spending time as a couch potato with her family. She is a little timid until she settles in and will need time to build trust with her new family..
Missy is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, on flea and heartworm prevention, current on her age-appropriate vaccinations.
Her adoption fee is only $75.
