I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Waka's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Waka's Story...
Meet Waka! He is a 9 year old neutered male shepherd mix. He is up to date on his shots too. He loves meeting new people and getting pets and attention. He knows commands such as sit, shake, and down. He enjoys playing with toys and LOVES playing with squeaky tennis balls. He walks really well on leash so that afternoon stroll around the park will be a breeze! If you have another dog please have them meet Waka. Take him home! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waka, a Colonial Heights animal shelter German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Colonial Heights animal shelter, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Colonial Heights animal shelter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colonial Heights animal shelter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colonial Heights animal shelter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colonial Heights animal shelter paves the way for another one to be saved.
