Audrey's Story...
Hi my name is Audrey! Im a young retired mama who's looking for her forever home! I came out of a really bad situation. Someone found me, my sister, and our 10 babies all shoved in a 24x18 crate outside with no food, water, or litterbox. Luckily they took us right out of there and called st francis! I really like the cushy life indoors with lots of beds, food, and catnip toys! But, my most favorite thing of all is to be pet. If you don't pet me when you walk in my room I will head butt you until you pay attention to me. Im a big purrer! I knead when Im happy too. I hope you will consider adding me to your family! Love, Audrey

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Audrey, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
