Rachel and Joey's Story...
Hello my name is Rachel (black) and Joey (brown/black)! We are chunky little pups that are very adorable, sweet...and sometimes messy. We may be absolutely adorable, but we need homes dedicated to teaching new things, getting the rest of our puppy shots after adoption, and maybe taking us to puppy classes even! We don't know what my dad was, but my mom appeared to be Rottweiler, lab, and Pit mix, so we are a lot of different breeds mixed together, and my personality will be whatever you train us to be! Adoptions are first come, first-serve on approved applications. We won't be able to be neutered for another few weeks, so I can't go home immediately, but the shelter is taking time to find the right home for all of us pups. Submit your application at in order to be considered. Inquiries do not hold a spot for any of the puppies. P.S. We don't need to go to the same home, but we wouldn't sit still while being separated from our siblings!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rachel and Joey, a South Haven Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
