Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Goldie is in foster care with her sibling who is already spoken for. They play well together with Goldie being a bit more dominant. They have gotten along well with the resident German Shepherd. Goldie is crate trained but needs supervision to get her fully housebroken. She is an active puppy that will probably go through the biting stage so for that reason we do not recommend for young children. Although so far she is not as bad as many puppies I have fostered. She does appear to be demanding for attention and loves to snuggle in your arms. She is learning to sit for a treat.
We only know that the Mom was a Lab mix and therefore we can only estimate that she will be on the large side.
Goldie has been dewormed and will have had her second puppy vaccine and bordetella vaccine before she goes home. She is also microchipped. Her adoption fee of $200 also includes her spay at one of our facilities.
Since she is not spayed yet Virginia law does not allow us to adopt out of state. For more information, please call the Bedford Humane Society at 540-586-6100, or go to www.bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm to fill out an adoption application.
