Cher's Story...
Welcome Cher. She is a large, athletic Black Mouth Cur. She is 2 years old and was confiscated here in Texas. Her family let her and her brother go unfed for long enough that the Animal Control Officers stepped in. This girl has a nice long stride and she would make a runner a good partner. She is good with other dogs and people but would be completely content being the only dog. She is naturally loyal and protective but not a mean dog. She is smart and will be an easy one to train. She weighs about 75 pounds and is a good weight. She is heartworm negative, spayed, up on shots, microchipped and ready to join her new East Coast Family. This girl would like a big fenced yard and an active family to join. Her adoption fee is 170 and transport to the East Coast from Lytle, Texas is 185. She can be delivered to VA, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MD and VT. Contact me for an applcation. We help with all the travel details.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cher, a Pluckemin Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
