Hi. My name is Eric and I'm looking for a person to call my own. My foster mom says I am a really good boy!!! They say they think I am 7 or 8 years old and am pretty mellow, whatever that means. I just know that I have been in this thing called "rescue" for way too long and would like a place to hang out and relax with my very own humans. I was in boarding for over a year before this lady named Tara pulled up in a big white van and picked me up and never made me go back. I am really happy now because I get to go for walks and go to the park and do things that I hear all dogs are supposed to do. My foster takes me to the river and even let me walk in the Modesto Christmas parade. That was fun! I wouldn't mind a doggie brother or sister. In fact, I would love that!! But no kitties please. I do not like them quite so much. I do like kids however, and don't mind giving kisses every now and then. But I wouldn't recommend putting me in a home with small children. I love them a lot but I don't realize how big I am sometimes. And I wouldn't want to hurt any kids. I would feel really, really bad. I love belly rubs and squeaker toys!! I also enjoy car rides and my foster mom says I'm pretty good on a leash. But sometimes I see a cat or a bicycle and I want to chase them. I don't like those bicycles either. They move too fast for me. I did go to a Harley-Davidson adoption event today and did great! I had a long day though. I met lots of new people and new doggie friends. I even got a new squeaker toy and lots of love from some cute kiddos. Time for this old man to hit the sheets. If you want to know anything else about me or would like to meet me, please email us @ firstname.lastname@example.org with “Eric” as the header.
