Cupid's Story...
Valentine's Day came a little early to TDR - meet our very own Cupid! This sweet guy is around six-months-old (the shelter thought a little older, but he's still losing his baby teeth!). He is a LOVE!!! Great with other dogs he's met, he's full of life and athleticism. He just wants to be with his people. In fact, he jumped in the shower with his foster aunt yesterday just to be a little closer! And a bonus - he's housebroken! Cupid will make an excellent spooning partner, a fun hiking buddy, and the best friend you'll ever have. He's still new to rescue so we're learning more about him everyday, but we are 100% certain we already so smitten with this guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cupid, a Newtown Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Newtown, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
