My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tanner is a 2 year 5 month old male Labrador, Border Collie mix. Tanner is a very big boy weighing in at 77 pounds. This big guy has a lot of energy! He really needs a large fenced yard or farm to run on. Tanner is not just energetic he is smart. Tanner is clicker trained and already knows "sit," "stay with me," "stay" and "leave it". Sometimes Tanner can play rough and get mouthy but if you keep a toy handy he is great with the exchange, a lot like you would do with a teething puppy. Tanner enjoys children but keep in mind his size if you have children he will live with. Tanner would really be a great dog in a very active family. He is food motivated and has already a great foundation in clicker training.
Tanner has had all of his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. He just need that perfect someone to take him on his next adventure to his forever home. You will require six things according to a volunteer that worked with Tanner; Patience, Persistence, Consistency, Kindness, Treats and Exercise. He is a volunteer and staff favorite no matter where he goes, what a love bug.
