Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption. You can contact the foster, Kim by email at k_l_whited@yahoo.coml.com for more information on how he can become part of your family.
Hi! My name is Cole. I am currently staying with my foster family, and super happy to be out of the animal shelter. I was there for a whole year before I was saved. My foster mommy says I'm very lovable. I enjoy laying on her and letting her pet me as much as possible.
However, due to being in the shelter for a year, she says I have developed "prison mentality", which means I still don't understand that my toys are in fact mine! I get very protective of them, and will growl if anyone tries to take them. I should also tell you that I am a great companion for adults, as children tend to make me uneasy right now. My foster mommy is working on that, as I have a foster sister and I don't always like it when she approaches me. I know my basic commands,
I do not enjoy the company of those pesky things you call cats. I also don't do well around small kids. Teenagers are fine just not little toddlers or any child under seven. It is highly recommended that if you have another dog in the house, we should get together for a meet-n-greet first. I am a bit picky about what other dog I want to share my space.
I understand the word no and I'm learning out to stay off the furniture and get my paws wiped when coming in from outside. I do well in a crate, and go in when asked (especially if a treat is involved). Won't you please be my fur-ever home?
I am a young fellow at heart. I have been checked out by a veterinarian and neutered. I received a set of preventative shots and have been wormed. I have tested negative for heartworms. I have also been microchipped.
