Twilight and Smooch are an inseparable duo that we have had the pleasure of taking in from our Tinton Falls facility, where they spent several months making friends and having fun. The pair were loved and cared for in Tinton Falls but they came to us for a change of atmosphere in the hopes that it would get them noticed and into a great home. Twilight and Smooch had a home, but were turned in when their owner could no longer afford to care for them. Twilight is a female border collie mix and Smooch a male lab mix, and both are almost 6 years old. These two could not get any sweeter if they were made of sugar! They are a bit on the shy side when they first meet you, Smooch more than Twilight, but Twilight will be trying to wiggle up into your lap in no time and Smooch will follow her lead. Smooch looks to Twilight to let him know that everything will be alright and we don't believe the pair could ever stand to be apart, so they will need a home where they can stay together forever. Twilight recently underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL and the pair were lost without each other during her recovery. Twilight and Smooch are very well behaved. They walk perfectly on a leash and know a variety of commands including sit, stay, lay down, hug and kiss. They get along fine with most dogs they meet and would love a home where they could run, play, and take long, leisurely naps together on a comfy bed.
