My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am already neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on shots, and good with kids, other dogs and cats! How awesome am I?
Meet Diego! This sweet guy will melt your heart with his sweet soul. Diego is a 12 year-young furbaby. He loves nothing better than to snuggle up with you and nap an afternoon away. Of course, he also loves his play time. Diego has had a rough couple of years and is looking for the final spot to live out the rest of his years being pampered, spoiled and loved on. He is a sweet boy who loves nothing more than to go on a walk and then burrow under a blanket so he can nap in toasty bliss! Diego is VERY motivated by treats, so he is easily coaxed into doing whatever it is you want him to. I am sure he would love to learn some new tricks to please his new family. Did I mention how much this boy LOVES his belly rubs? He is great at coaxing you into a belly rub when it is most convenient for him!
Diego is house-broken and is crate-trained - although he also does not mind sleeping in bed with his master :0). He lives peacefully with his foster’s kitty not really showing in interest in her at all. He has previously successfully lived with kids and really does love the loving that comes with older kids.

Diego’s adoption fee is $125. Adopters must live within 150 miles or a 3 hour drive of the Quad City area.

For more information about Diego, email debbie@k9kindnessrescue.org or fill out the online adoption application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org.

Diego and K9 Kindness Rescue thank you for considering adoption through rescue for a new family companion!
