Willow's Story...
Meet Willow! We rescued this love bug from a high kill shelter in CA, she had a terrible case of Demodex mange and was on the euthanasia list. She was covered in scabs and in pain. We got her to the vet for immediate care and got her going on medication to treat her mange. Since joining the rescue this beautiful girl has come leaps and bounds. Her fur has almost fully grown back in and she's looking like the gorgeous babe she is! Willow spent a couple months living in a wonderful foster home with 2 other dogs. Willow loves people (especially men!) and is a major cuddle bug! She is house broken, crate trained, and knows her basic commands. Willow is looking for a family with experience with powerful breeds that will be committed to her exercise and on-going training. We think Willow would do best in a home with a male large-breed and no cats. To learn more about Willow or to inquire about adopting please contact us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Eugene American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Eugene, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Eugene.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eugene already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eugene breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eugene paves the way for another one to be saved.
