Pony's Story...
Meet Pony! This little man was found wondering the streets in a rural area in CA. He's around 4 months old, he can be a bit shy at first but warms up to people and other dogs quickly. He is looking for an active family that will be dedicated to his socialization, training and of course that will provide him with lots of love. Pony's adoption fee includes his neuter, age appropriate vaccines, de-worming and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pony, a Eugene German Shepherd Dog/Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Chesapeake Bay Retriever for sale in Eugene, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy from a breeder in Eugene.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eugene already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eugene breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Chesapeake Bay Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Chesapeake Bay Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eugene paves the way for another one to be saved.
