Baby's Story...
Baby is an adorable pure-bred little Shih-Tzu. She weighs about 7.5 lbs, and is 4.5 years old. She loves with all her heart. She can be a little shy in new surroundings, but acclimates very quickly. She gets along well with other dogs, and even likes cats. She loves to run around in a fenced-in yard, take long walks on leash, and is very happy sitting in laps! Baby will make a fabulous companion in a home with or without other dogs and with older children.

Baby is currently being fostered in Greensboro, NC. She is spayed, microchipped, and is current on all vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby, a Chattanooga Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
