Jethro's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Jethro's Story...
Jethro is a purebred Great Pyrenees, 4 years old. He was rescued from starvation and had a severe case of mange and was infested with fleas. This neglect resulted in significant hair loss and a secondary bacterial infection in her skin. Jethro is very friendly to people. Concerned about some new dogs, but adjusts well with time. Fine with cats. He will not be available for adoption until he is healthy enough. Videos and photos available on our Facebook page. ~ NOTE: We require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions, especially breeds like this. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jethro, a Mount Gilead Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Mount Gilead, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Mount Gilead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Gilead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Gilead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Gilead paves the way for another one to be saved.
