My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello I'm Rossie pup and I hope you'll choose me as your new loyal friend! I am a very cute beagle boy with stubby little legs and I am about 4 years old. I might look a little older because I have some extra insulation that foster mom says I have to lose. My foster parents don't know too much about me, but they do know that I was on the lam for a little while because I was picked up as a stray. I had some mange and fleas that were cured at the shelter, but I still have a small bald patch on my back. It's healed over, but it will take some time for the fur to grow back. The rest of my fur is nice and thick and very shiny!

My foster parents think I must have come from a loving home before I was a stray because I am house trained, very well-mannered, affectionate, and I came with a microchip (it had never been registered, though, so it didn't have any contact information for my family). Being a stray and living at the shelter was really scary and while I'm coming out of my shell I'm still pretty timid. My main goal in life is to be a good dog and if I could, I would always ask if I am doing things right. Even if I do something naughty (I've recently developed a taste for foster mom's purse and the ends of phone chargers), I promise I was trying to be good and I'm always really sorry!!

My favorite things in life are people food (which foster mom never lets me have!!), ear scratches, lounging in the sun outside, squishy places for my butt, dog food, and playing with my foster brother. Foster dad has me on a weight-loss plan and I'm learning to love walks, too! I'm a really sweet natured pup who gets along well with other dogs and whose tail is always wagging. I would always do my best to be the best dog I can and I can't wait to be part of a family again in my forever home. If I sound like the beagle for you, just let Midwest BREW know you think I'd be the perfect fit.

Love and tail wags,
Rossie
