Jax is a big boy, weighing in at 16 pounds, but has lots of love to give! He comes to the door to greet his visitors and is quite chatty at times. Jax will flop down right next to you and purr loudly when you pet or brush him. His coat is a beautiful silver-blue and in places it looks like tiny feathers. He would make a great companion for adults or a family with older children. Jax prefers to be the only cat, as he is very picky about his feline friends. Recently though, he did ok with a younger female cat he roomed with. Jax has been with us a long time-since 2009, relinquished by a family who could no longer keep him. Jax is 14 and a special needs cat because he is diabetic and requires a daily injection, which is easy and we can show you how. We know Jax is a difficult placement and it would take just the right person, but surely there is a wonderful angel out there who will adopt him, and offer him a loving home. Please give him a chance, you won't regret it.
