Mr. Wilson's Story...
Hi I am Mr. Wilson. The people in the rescue call me a true southern gentleman! At around 9 years old he I am past all that puppy ridiculousness stage but I do enjoy playing and telling my stories with those little guys. I still have a lot of great years ahead of me and would love a home to share the rest of my story. I love to play, go for walks and snuggle up. I have true gentlemen manners such as being house trained, getting along with dogs and cats and walk nicely on a leash. Many would say I am too old so I am looking for a special person who understands that age is just a number. A person who can appreciate that I am more like a fine wine, better with age! If you are that special person that sees me for the sweet, gentle perfect southern gentleman that I am please email barkandrollrescuecompanions@gmail.com for information and learn how to share the rest of my story!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Wilson, a Baton Rouge Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
