My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a sad life Perry must have led prior to coming to us as a lost and lonely stray. This very pretty pittie was just as thin as a rail and her ears were chewed up, probably from being tied outside. She is all smiles now that her sad life is a thing of the past and she is so happy to make new friends. A few good meals and a comfy, warm bed is all it took to get Perry's tail wagging and it has not stopped since. Perry is about 3 years old and even though she led a neglected life, she is just as beautiful as they come. She is a petite little lady that is outgoing and personable, and she makes friends very easily. She just loves people, but she is not a fan of other dogs at all. Perry is well behaved and although she is strong, she walks well on a leash and sits nicely when asked. Although she must have been starving recently, as evidenced by her protruding bones, she still takes treats very gently. She is very curious and playful, and she gets a kick out of checking out toys. She enjoys taking a run in our exercise yard but enjoys even more just sitting beside you and getting some attention. Perry is such a love that didn't deserve the sad life that she used to live, so if you can give her a wonderful new beginning, please come in and meet our pretty girl. File#25940 2/1/16
