Angel is such a sweet girl! She was adopted in 2009 from EDCR but was returned to us through no fault of her own. She is approx 9 years old now and has developed hypothyroidism, but this condition is easily managed with an inexpensive medication. Angel is confused about why she lost her home and family, so we're hoping to find her a new foster or adoptive family quickly. Angel will go for walks if you like, but she's just as happy to relax on the couch. She gets along with other dogs who share her mellow demeanor. She is housetrained and knows basic commands.
If you'd be willing to open your heart to Angel, as a foster or a new family member, please contact us!
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Each dog in our rescue is in a loving foster home, where they can grow, play, and recover from their time spent on the streets or in a shelter. If you'd like to meet an adoptable dog, please fill out an application on our website, www.edcr.org. Because we are a foster home based rescue a completed adoption application is required to meet our adoptable dogs.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
