Hi, I'm MONA .... I'm a really sweet girl who just LOVES attention... in fact if you start petting me, I'll just lean in and put my head on your lap for more strokes and kind words... the very nice peeps here at the Tehama County Animal Care Center in Red Bluff, CA said I was kept as an outside doggie, which is the reason I like to go into the play yard... but, really ...I would much rather stay with you...either in or out... please don't leave me alone in a yard anymore... I just Really...Really want a chance at a happily ever after with a new furever family!... If you would like a sweet girl like me call 530-527-3439.. you won't be disappointed!... Love MONA

More about: MONA, approximately 1.5 years old, 60 lbs, heart worm negative, sweet girl, happy and friendly, loves attention--being petted and will lean into you while you pet her, you do need to earn her trust before you can handle her very much, she is fine having her ears pulled but not too fond of having her feet or tail handled, outgoing, loves to be outside in the play yard, can climb chain link fencing so will need secure fencing, fairly independent, probably has been an outside only dog all her life, loves treats and is gentle taking them from fingers, smart girl, knows the sit command but can be stubborn about showing you, she will benefit from obedience training as you both learn new things and bond together as a new family,

Mona seems to be accustomed to being alone but that doesn't mean she wants to be alone, she is eager for a second chance for a happily ever after. As we learn more about MONA we will update the post.
