Meet Chrissy Snow!
Chrissy came to Canine Cupids with a case of Demodex mange, a non-contagious skin condition and is easily treatable. She is now healthy but has some permanent hair loss from her mange. It makes her look very unusual when she is tan! haha
Chrissy will go into her crate easily and while she can be trusted out loose, occasionally she will get into the garbage…so until she gets a bit older and less of a puppy crating is suggested.
She is VERY, VERY, VERY food motivated! She is smart and listens well when treats are used as a motivator. She loves the pool and loves all her friends at doggy daycare! She is even learning that cats are OK to be around without chasing!
Chrissy LOVES attention and loves to cuddle, play tug-o-war and with her tennis balls (or any toy really). Contact Canine Cupids today if you'd like to make this adorable girl a member of the family!
Chrissy’s adoption fee is $100 during the month of August, and she is being fostered in southeastern Wisconsin. Canine Cupids is a rescue in Milwaukee that is comprised of volunteers who have been fostering for various organizations and volunteering at our local animal control. Canine Cupids focuses on Milwaukee’s homeless dogs, but will always help a dog in need when we can — regardless of location.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
