I love humans of all kinds - kids and adults alike, though I'd probably do better in a home with older kids since I'm so active and energetic. I am quite goofy and entertaining, so I'll always keep you laughing. After a long day of romps and fun, I do like to lay down and show affection to my human friends.
I'm really smart and well mannered and I'm working on my leash training and house training right now, so that I'll be at 100% or close to it by the time I'm in my forever home. I am a quick learner and very smart, so I don't think it'll take long. And you can expect that any rules you have or tricks you want me to learn I will follow and understand quickly for this reason.
I'm up to date on my shots and neutered, but I do have heartworm. My heartworm is being treated, so with the proper treatment I'll be back to better health in no time. Please don't let this deter you from adopting me because it is something I'm being treated for and I can't wait to be in a forever home so that I can find a family to love that loves me back just as much. There is nothing more exciting to me than the thought of that...not even the thought of being given 1,000 milkbones is more exciting than thinking about being in a forever home!!
I am currently in Madison, Mississippi, and transportation to the New England area is provided by Animal Rescue Front and is included in the adoption fee If you're interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/
I hope I get to meet you soon - and maybe even have you as my forever family!
