So you think I can fly? Ha ha, I know my ears are magical but trust me, I cannot fly though I'd love to. But I AM a magical dog in my own way, at least I think so. Looking for a low-maintenance apartment dog? I just might be the answer and admit it, I'm super cute. I know humans are on a different level to me and I'm just fine with that. Some may call this submissive but I call it sucking up! And I'm super affectionate and loving and licking and loving and, oh gosh, I just love, love, love. That's my magic. Lucy was rescued along with her four eight week old puppies and three older puppies from her previous litter from the veterinarian's office where they were left to be boarded in January 2015. Their owner abandoned Lucy, while she was pregnant, and the veterinarian wanted to take them to the shelter. Luckily a Poochmatch volunteer offered to take the whole family - all of whom have found forever homes except for Lucy. Lucy gets along with all dogs, male and female, large and small - she has a gentle, mellow temperament. She would do great in an apartment setting as she is quiet. She is house-trained, crate-trained and leash-trained, up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between noon and 4 pm, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster mom.
All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, necessary vaccinations, fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
