She was found as a stray in Houston and her rescuer took her to their groomer to get cleaned up and board there until she found a perfect family.
Eve gets along with other canine friends but would thrive in a home where she could be the princess stealing all of the love and attention! Eve does not prefer cats or small dogs.
She has learned to walk nicely on a leash and has learned her "sit" command! She has also been working very hard on not jumping up --- she gets so excited! She responds very well to a firm hand, consistency and patience.
Eve has a sneaky talent of being able to climb short fences! Her ideal home would have a taller fence that this little Houdini couldn't climb!
Eve has started her treatment for heartworm but don't let that scare you! Heartworms are carried by mosquitos and are very common in Houston stray dogs. This is not in any way a serious health concern for her! The vet says she is very healthy and strong and she should become heartworm negative with her treatment in about 6 mos - 1 year. We will provide one year of heartworm prevention medication to the adopter.
This sweet beautiful girl with the amazing eyes is ready for her forever home! Will that be you?
Her adoption fee is $300, which includes her transport, travel crate and bed. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and the only thing she’s missing is a family to adore. If this beautiful girl seems to be a perfect fit for your family, please email us at email@example.com or fill out the adoption application on our website, www.reggiesfriends.org under the Adoptables tab.
