I am already neutered, housetrained, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rebel's Story...
Unlike the James Dean movie, this Rebel has a cause, and that is to make you happy! Rebel is a calm, mellow 3.5 year old Lab/Pit mix. He is neutered, vaccinated, house-trained and kennel-trained. Rebel underwent a full exam at the vet’s office a few days ago (including blood work), and was pronounced fully healthy! This sweetheart gets along well with dogs, cats and children. Rebel is a sweet and gentle soul who would love to be part of your loving family.

If you want to apply for Rebel, please visit the rescue and fill out an application. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rebel, a Meridian Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
