My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Misty! Our pictures cannot do this beautiful girl justice! She is a happy girl who loves to carry sticks around and may even be convinced to fetch them back for a tasty treat. She absolutely loves attention and is always on the lookout for pats and ear rubs and whatever else she can get.

She is a young adult, at about 2-3 years. Misty weighs about 60-65 lbs; she is tall, muscular, and lean. She would make a great companion for a runner or hiker as she has plenty of energy for outdoor activities. She learns very quickly and would love a home where she has some yard to carry a big stick around and an active family to take her for walks and play.

Misty is crate and house trained and has been through a basic obedience class, where she did very well. She is learning to walk politely on leash although she is still learning that on leash walks, she is not allowed to dash off after a squirrel or a deer or any other fast-moving furry critters. Misty gets along well with other dogs. Homes with cats are not for her, considering her excitement at dashing after furry creatures.

Misty is spayed, microchipped, tested heartworm negative, and current on her vaccinations.
