Hello everyone, I'm Boy! I'm a one and a half year old American Bulldog/Mountain Cur mix and I'm a lover, a player, and a snugglebug! :)
I was recently dropped off at the shelter by my owner because his health was declining and he could no longer give me the love and attention that I needed. I'm used to being in a home setting, so I would love to go back to being in a relaxing family setting again (forever this time). I miss the companionship and affection that comes with being a family member and if you adopt me I'll show you how much I love it!
Since being at the shelter, I've made friends with all the pups there and often find myself romping around with them and having a good time. I love to play with the toys there, especially the tennis balls...I hope you like fetch! :) When I'm done playing, I love curling up into a ball and lounging around with my family. I might seem like a big pup, but I'm actually a lap dog in disguise. My looks are deceiving because I just want to snuggle up and be pampered. And I'm actually a very calm and quiet dog. I don't bark much and I'm very well-behaved. My original owner trained me well on the leash, house trained me, and taught me my basic commands, so I'll be on my best behavior for you always.
I hope that I can be in a family that is active and loving - whether it's a family with kids, a couple, or even just one companion I will be happy. I'd be happy with or without another pup around and I haven't been around cats much, but I'm very mellow so I think that would be okay for me if you had any.
I'm in great health - up to date on shots, microchipped, and neutered. So all you have to do is fill out an adoption form and bring me into your home forever. :)
