My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moe is a fun loving and playful dog once he has time to warm up to you! His trust in humans has come so far since being in his foster home. He very much enjoys being with his person and would do well if allowed to be a lap dog! He does enjoy the company of other small dogs but can get nervous of larger animals that get in his face. He is a quiet dog and is very respectful of your space. Moe has lived with a cat in his foster home and would do well with dog appropriate cats! He loves to play fetch with a tennis ball or soft squeaky toy! Moe has great leash manners and is fully housetrained. He is currently learning some basic obedience in his foster home but being petted on your lap is his favorite trick! :) Moe is probably a Papillon mix and is 3-4 years old, weighs 11 lbs and is neutered.
(An adoption donation of $300 is required.) If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email CHEW Dog Rescue at pawsontherun@gmail.com and ask for the adoption application form. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
