Moby is a 5-year-old Chinese Crested who came into rescue with his best friend, Toby. This regal, exotic-looking boy is a HUGE cuddle bug who loves to have his belly rubbed! Enjoying human companionship is one of the main characteristics of his breed. Moby can be extremely frightened in new or uncomfortable surroundings, but he is a perfectly lovable pet once he has adjusted. He loves to play at the dog park and is unseperable from his best friend Toby. He is potty trained but marks inside from time to time. The perfect home for Moby will be with someone with love, patience, and the ability to work with fearful dogs. He will do best in a home with no small children or large dogs, but can adapt if they are respectful of his space. Moby is fearful when meeting new people and may growl or nip-- but he has gotten much better and there isn't a truly aggressive bone in his body. Moby and Toby have a lot of energy and like to go on walks and run at the dog park as often as possible. While Chinese Cresteds are not classified as Hypoallergenic, they shed very minimally which would be great for anyone with allergies. Because of his distinctive hairless body, research about care of his breed is advised.
Due to the bond between Moby and Toby, we would love to keep this bonded pair together.
