Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi- I’m Cecil. When you look at me and think- wow he’s the cutest, fluffiest puppy I’ve ever seen- you’re absolutely right (there’s no need to be humble when you’re an adorable puppy)! I was born sometime around December and since then, I’ve been learning to navigate the world with my ears and my nose. I wish I could see for myself what this world is all about, but you see, I was born with no eyes. My foster mom quickly learned that I do best when you talk to me or give me sound cues, like snapping, regularly so I can get around and so I know where to find her when I need her. I learned my new environment pretty quickly and get around just fine! I’m the ultimate puppy; I’m playful, always smiling, and I love to snuggle! I’ll need a house where the humans have Chow Chow experience (I can be a handful) and are willing to work with me as I explore the world in this unique way. I’ve gotta go- I think I heard the treat jar!
Cecil is an adorable typical mischievous puppy and will require tons of patience, consistency and training. He already shows some strong Chow Chow tendencies. He is strong willed and wants to be the boss. He is easily startled so we are looking for a home with Chow Chow breed experience and no children. He is very guarded towards strangers at first, especially men. Having no vision escalates these tendencies. He will require a home with a yard and another playful dog, constant and consistent training, socialization, and patience. Cecil will make a crazy loving and loyal companion, we are looking for someone willing to make a full commitment to him to give him the best life ever! His adoption fee is 300.00. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and micro chipped. He is dog-door trained, crate-trained, and great on a leash. If you are interested in him please fill out our adoption application at happytailsaz.org.
