My name is Bentley!

Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever Mix Dog for adoption in High River, Alberta - Bentley

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Bentley's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Bentley's Story...
He's a trim, still very much an active dog, who enjoys spending time with the other dogs, loves his leash walks, has a good and respectful grasp on all the basic commands, and is affectionate and friendly with people. He does require daily medications (low cost ones), to control his skin condition and D/D food from the vet. We believe he'd do well around children who were a bit older and could play and engage with him. He's chase-y on the cats here, so perhaps a home without cats for their sake!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a High River Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in High River, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in High River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in High River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a High River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in High River paves the way for another one to be saved.
