Mr. Wilson's Story...
He was found by a Good Samaritan and he was in ready bad shape. He was carried on a blanket to our facility and no one thought that he would live throughout the night? Two months later he is the happiest boy you could ever meet. He only about 6/7 years old but he had a rough life and was pretty beat up and sick when he got to us. He acts more like an older dog. Very mellow, very easy going, doesn’t chew on anything, totally house broken. He does nothing wrong, just likes to lay in the sun or on his doggy bed. He moves slow and is just a sweet old man. His only down side is that he doesn’t like cats. He is looking for his forever home with someone who will love him and give him all the love and attention that he deserves. Please help us find him a family that will love him like we do.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Wilson, a Homosassa American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Homosassa, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Homosassa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homosassa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homosassa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homosassa paves the way for another one to be saved.
