Marley's Story...
Marley is a 1yr old female who has grown up at our shelter (been here since July 2015 as a 2 month old kitten!) She has never had the experience of a loving home, although we do our best to love on her. Marley started off very shy, but she has really blossomed into a social and sweet cat. She will likely take some time to adjust in a new home, as she has never experienced one before, but a little patience and love will help! Marley is a great with other cats, and we think she might do best in a home with other cats to help show her the way. She is so sweet now, you'd never know she used to be scared of people! She especially loves when humans bring her food (what cat doesn't?) If you want to make a difference in a cats life, Marley would be forever grateful to whoever adopts her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Broadway Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Broadway, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
