Zena has one of those expressive faces that can make your heart melt. She’s a young Chihuahua/Doxie cross that is only a year or two old and weighs 12 pounds. Zena is great with kids of all ages, cats, and other small dogs. We’re not sure about large dogs, but we suspect she’d be a-okay with them.
Zena’s quicly learning her basic commands and, though timid at times, seems eager to please. She’s learning her name and her housetraining is well underway. A family that is willing to continue to work with her and help her become the total rock star she’s destined to be would be perfect for Zena.
It doesn’t take much to make Zena happy, so if you’ve got belly rubs and toys, she’s your gal! She’s definitely more focused on humans and would thrive really well in a home with children. With a little bit of trust and a whole lot of love, Zena’s foster family says she’ll make a “phenomenal addition” to the right home.
