Andy's Story...
Andy is about 10 months old. He has become quite comfortable with being petted and held. He is in a cage with Amethyst, and he is loving having a buddy. He is a gentle guy that seems to like to play and be petted and snuggled.

Andy is very dependent on the companionship of a confident, social cat to help him feel comfortable and adjust to a situation. When alone with people in a new situation, he will be quite shy and reclusive. However, if another cat is brought into the room, Andy opens up and begins interacting. As such, we are requiring that he be adopted into a home with a resident well-adjusted cat or be adopted with a confident, social cat companion.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative.

Discounted adoption fee if two kittens or cats are adopted together, $130 for a pair.

Brief screening questionaire and contract apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a Lombard Russian Blue kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Russian Blue kitten from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
