Dolly's Story...
DOLLY is a very well-mannered quiet dog. Someone spent some time training this wonderful girl. She knows many commands, and won't eat from her bowl until you tell her to. We believe she was a hunting dog who got separated from her owners. She gets along well with most dogs, and I use her a 'mentor' dog at my house to greet some of the more shy dogs coming in. Dolly tested Heartworm Postive, but she's been through her first 6 months of product and we're ready to retest her. We provide all products and all testing until she tests free of the heartworm. She is fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on all flea/tick medications, as well as her heartworm medication. Dolly's adopt fee is $125.00 You can contact Lisa @ (785) 207-5641 (leave a message) or come meet her at the Wilma Rudolph Pet Smart on Sundays from 11- 4.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Dover Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Dover, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Dover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dover paves the way for another one to be saved.
